The lake has a plethra of bluegill, crappie, large and small mouth bass, catfish and is great for fishing. The cabin has a full kitchen with stove, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, and coffee pot. It is stocked with a variety of pots, pans and dishware. The bathroom has a stand up shower with no bathtub. Most of the property, with the exception of directly around the cabin and an area for swimming, is grazed by beef cattle. There is a locked gate at the entrance to the cabin that must stay shut at all times for the cattle. The mother cows and calves will rarely come near you and it is important that they are left alone, but they are fun to watch. There is a canoe and a rowboat to use at the lake, and some life jackets. There is a fire ring and wood is provided for you. There are also picnic tables on the screened in porch and out by the fire ring area. There is also an outdoor grill that uses charcoal. The cabin has its own private driveway.

In excess of 2,500 sq ft, some parts are over 160 yrs old. But the beautifully well-maintained Thomas M. Abell House is situated within walking distance to downtown businesses, Courthouse Square, and the Amphitheater at Perkins Park. Grocery stores, the Eastwood Mall, Mosquito Lake State Park, local bike trails, etc are all nearby too. A ramp and a full downstairs bathroom with shower were installed to make the house wheelchair friendly. The second "servant staircase" is still intact. While we list the house as sleeping 8, there are two full sofas and a settee (plus bedding!), which could expand the capacity to 11. The Thomas M. Abell House contains vintage and antique furnishings, fixtures, and woodwork. We want our guests to enjoy elements of a bygone era while living with modern conveniences. Please don't be afraid to touch … but we do request your respect. The house is heated with hot water radiators. On the coldest of mornings they have been known to make a few tapping sounds as they heat up. Plaster walls and ceilings mean that some cracks are visible, but we embrace these as evidence of its age. The Little House on the Farm can be found in Historical Mesopotamia Ohio. The House was a carriage house originally, then used as a woodworking shop. We recently renovated it to provide a comfortable stay while staying in, or traveling thru the area. It is wheelchair accessible into first floor bedroom with queen size bed, and bath with 4' shower. There is also a loft bedroom upstairs with a double bed. There is a furnished kitchen, with gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster & coffee maker for guests to prepare meals. Continental breakfast provided. We are within walking distance of the End Of The Commons General store. We are 5 miles from Middlefield, home of the fourth largest Amish community in the world. There are multiple Amish stores and places of business in our area. We are within 1 hr. of Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown & Ashtabula. And 30-45 min. to Lake Erie.

The Sandpiper Cottage is an original lake cottage built in 1957. It's purpose was vacation and leisure on the lake that is known today as Lake Milton State Park in Ohio. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It's 940 square feet has been completely renovated in keeping with it's historical charm and character while incorporating modern amenities. There's an ease of living in this single level home located in the Village of Craig Beach, Ohio. It is our guest cottage, with keyless entry, and sleeps 6 in beds and 7 if you have an infant! The space has a full size exceptional island kitchen that seats 8 for dining, separate living room that seats 7 and three private bedrooms. It has it's own stackable laundry unit and always fresh high quality bedding and towels. The owner/hosts live in the main home right next door and are always a phone call or text away if you need them. We are located away from it all, but close to everything - 40 minutes to downtown Cleveland, 10 minutes to the Burton square, 15 minutes to Middlefield, and close to some great wineries! A couple of our favorites are a little less than 20 minutes away, just ask if you'd like! Your private suite is nicely appointed with everything you'll need for a night away or a week of touring the area and can accommodate up to 5 (including an infant). The bedroom has a queen bed with down comforter. In the living room there is a full-size pullout sofa bed. We also have a pack and play available if needed for an infant/small child. The kitchen includes a range & oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster, along with all of the cooking utensils you'll need. And you don't need to take dirty clothes home with you with the in-suite stacked washer/dryer. There are also 2 cute pygmy goats on the property.
